JVC PC-6
The PC-6 was JVC's top 3-piece boombox in the early 80s. It looks similar to the PC-5, with identical output power according to the service manual, but it has larger speakers with tweeters, as well as an EQ section.
The system is comprised of the following pieces:
PC-D3 cassette deck
PC-R3 amp/tuner
GE-3 graphic equalizer with 5 bands (63Hz, 250Hz, 1kHz, 4kHz, and 16kHz)
PC-B6 speakers
BP-12K optional rechargeable battery pack
CN-332 optional car adapter
The speakers are 271mm tall and 155mm wide, which is larger than the PC-5 speakers (218mm tall and 124mm wide). They contain 12cm woofers and 5cm tweeters, while the PC-5 only has 10cm full-range drivers.
The PC-6W was the multi-voltage version, and the PC-6WH was a 240V version for the UK.
